My first real job was working at the Cut Rate many, MANY years ago, and Fran was my first boss. He was always a respectful, dignified, and hard-working gentleman, and everyone should have their first (or subsequent) employer be as professional as Fran was. I had rarely seen him since those days in the mid-70s, but I remember him well, and am sorry to hear of his passing.
