When death find its way into our lives not only does it leave us deep in our sorrow and grief but it often leave us with questions with little to no answers. Over taken by the lost of our loved ones we find ourselves asking a question over and over again, why? Before the loss, death meant nothing, it?s a thought most times un-thought of and the impact on our lives was considered very little if considered at all. However, many think death is a part of life but according to Titus 1:2 everlasting life was Jehovah God?s purpose for mankind from the beginning of mans creation, not death. Death greatly affects the lives of many as you are now experiencing and Jehovah God is aware of that and by means of the provision he made for us, we all have a promised hope. That hope is that death will one day soon not be a threat any longer to us. Rev 21:3-4 states that death will be no more and the things that cause pain and suffering will be no more. Yes Jehovah God promises to do away with death and all it?s many components that make death possible. He even says according to Isaiah 33:24 it will come a time when no one on the earth will say they are sick and Psalms 37:9 said that the wicked will be cut off so they too will not be able to cause any more harm to those on the earth. That is truly a wonderful hope and because God loved us so much he gave his only begotten son that we may have another chance at life he is also making it possible for our dear loved ones we lost to death to return to us by means of a resurrection. John 5:28-29 states that those in the memorial tombs will awaken from an eternal sleep once they hear Christ voice. We can all trust in this blessing because Hebrews 6: 18 says of Jehovah God, ?It is impossible for God to Lie.? Isaiah 55:11 also assure us nothing that Jehovah God says or promise will not return without results. These words are faithful and truth. May God be with you.

Grandma I never wanted the day to come that you would have to leave us but unfortunately you were ready to go home with Daddy and Grandpa....It was soo hard to say good bye to you but I knew I had to because I knew you were now happy and at peace...still when I think about you or see a picture of you I cry and I know you wouldnt want me to but it is hard not to...The only thing I wish i could have done was spend more time with after we all moved because i never got to really see you after that but you always knew i loved you and god gram did i miss you so much during that time. And at the nursing home when you told me you wanted to go "home" with me.. Gram believe me if i could have done anything about it i would have because that is were i want to be to. That would have gave us more time for me cuddle up with you...or do your hair...put your earings in....or maybe even paint your nails... but i guess my wishes were just to high for that...but now i guess Daddy will have to do that for me untill you and Daddy open them doors for me! Dear Gram, It always seems like the ones we love the most are the ones that have to go.But you were tired and we all know that.You were definately a amazing women.I may not have as many memories as all the other grandchildren but i do have my share.And my boys do to,brandon would always say "mom how is grandma with the patch on her eye"and jason would say can we see grandma grassel and collon was to young to have any kind of saying like that but i remember when we would come to the nursing home collon would say mam-ma huggie!!All in all we love you and we will miss you!Gram,know that your with uncle jim and granpa and all your loved ones,it may not be a whole lot of peace,my fathers there with you all and it just may be a full time job again keeping daddy and uncle jim out of trouble again!!You will forever be in our hearts.Love,jess,jay brandon,jason&collon

grandma or harriet is now in heaven with her husband and her son.gram has no longer to suffer anymore or listen to all the arguingand fighting.this family is now toring apart.my heartis broken into millions of pieces.a very large part of my sole has died also.when grandma was visiting us or i go and see her gram always kept telling me she just wanted togo home where she lived all her life.thats all she wanted but now she is in heaven.truely and honestly ive love my grandmother very very much more than anything in this world.there was never a day or night i never was thinking of her.how was she feeling.was everything ok.even when we where miles apart i miss her so much and love her.my memories i have of gram will always be with menow and for ever.ive never been mean or rotten to her.ive had said a few things that where wrong.im truely sorry and deeply regret.gram always knew if i need something or if something was wrong.ive never ever took advantage of her like so many has done.everyone knows that ill do anything for her at anytime.gram was very special to me and i was very special to her.our bond we had was very strong and always will be.theres no one else like her. once again i loved gram very very much and miss her so much until the day i die love you stan

Gram, Well I had to say my final goodbye to the best grandmother in the world yesterday and it was not easy. I will never forget how your smile lit up the room when Mike, Travis, Dakota and I walked in, looking for that big hug and kiss from you. You have the best Hugs!! I know you heard me yesterday and that you helped me get through one of the most difficult times in my life. I know you are at peace and not suffering anymore. I know you wouldn't want me to be sad, but my life will always have a void without you in it to share. Travis was so glad that you got to come to his 6th birthday party last month...He loves you so much and will never forget you. Grandma, Well today was the last time I got to see your beautiful face I am going to miss you so very much! I know you are so happy being with daddy now but I will miss you dearly! I knew when I lost you I was going to lose my whole "family." Dearest Gram, You served a long life with lots of love for all of us. I know you were just getting tired and just wanted to rest and be with grandpa who left us so many years ago. I may have been only five but I remember that day. Thank you for all the memories you gave us all. From the Sunday dinners to your 87th Birthday party. I'm sure that you fullfilled all your dreams and wishes. Just know that you will be greatly missed and prayed to on many occasions. I will let my children know of their great-gram and all the wonderful dinners you would cook for us. I don't know whatever happend to those days, I guess we all just grew apart and haste towards one another. It is sad to say that times like this bring people together and then can still tear us apart. Well Gram, just know that I will always love and miss you. Have you ever lost someone you held so dear, A person you could talk to when no one else was there, When my Grandma passed, I was filled with disbelief, but now I can carry on because I know she's at peace, I guess God called her because she was needed upstairs, but now that you're up, look down, you have a loving family down here, I looked at her life from every angle, God, I have one question, can she come back to be my angel? Grandma, The most amazing woman I knew. Loved by so many people and always smiling. Im gonna miss that smile of yours, everytime I would walk into Grandma Jeans and you were sitting in the chair. I just wanted to come over there and squeeze you. You would always look up at me, smile then squeeze my hand. There were so many memories that not only I had the blessing to share with you but all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I remember dad bringing Jim and I up to your house, we would play and you would make dinner. The easter egg hunt that we had in your yard, and sitting on your bed with you talking. I know that it was your time to go, you waited so long to be with Great Grandpa, Uncle Jim and Uncle Kris. Im sure they were standing at those gates waiting for you with arms wide open. Grandma/Great-grandma - may we hope and pray that you lay in peace with grandpa and your son, Uncle Jim. The memories I have of you as a child I will cherish forever. Every Sunday going up to your house, playing with all the other kids, you working hard in the kitchen making spaghetti and everyone eating as a great big family. The best part, though, was when everyone would sit/stand around the table and we would play "scant". What it meant to us kids to win a pile of quarters. Jana, Collin, Hannah, and I (along with all of your other grandchildren and great-grandchildren) have been very fortunate to have you for as long as we have. Grandma/Grandma Great.... There are no words to express how special you were to Michael, Travis, Dakota and I. We miss you so much, but we know that you are at peace and having a party with Grandpa and Uncle Jim!! They have waited so long for you and I am sure Grandpa asked what took you so long!!?? I leave you with this poem titled: "Grandma's Prayer" Granddaughters are Gods special gift To let every Grandma know That the Lord has set aside a special prayer For when you're feeling low. I'm not sure if I have all the words But they came straight from Gods heart To let each Grandma always know They're loved right from the start. Dear Grandma when I awoke today And saw that great big sun I knew you put it in the sky So we could go out and have some fun. And when I heard the robins sing And listened to their happy tune I remembered how you sang me to sleep I hope you show up soon. And when I saw that yellow butterfly Land upon my window sill The beauty I saw in front of me Reminded me of Grandma, I know it always will. I got up then and knelt and prayed To our Lord Jesus in the sky I thanked him for all these beautiful things But I had one more prayer before I said goodbye. Dear God, when you see Grandma Send an angel to keep her safe from harm Then send her here to play with me I feel safe inside her arms. Dear Grandma, I realize that I have not seen you in a few months but it was not because I did not love you or miss you.I love you very much and I am going to miss you very much. It was just that you know as well I did .Grandma I remeber the talks that we had while you were staying at Mom and Dads and I will never forget what you told me. Dear Dad, I am sorry that grandma had to leave us so soon but that is what she wanted she wanted to be with Grandpa.But at the same time she wanted to be with her kids to but she could not be in two places at once. Dad I know this is a hard time for you on top of all your health issues but I now that you are a strong man just look you put up with me for all these yrs and that is a tough job. I am so sorry that we are not as close as we should be but believe it or not I Love You Very Much I just want you to know that. I sometimes wish that I could get as close to you as the the other kids so that I could comfort you in a time like this.But anyway just remeber that if you need anything you know where I am at. Gram, I want to thank you for the special weekend that all of us, as a family, got to spend together, nobody can take those last few wonderful memories away. I was so impressed when all of your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren came into see you - you perked up ever time someone new came into the room. You were even strong enough to hang on for Mary Jo -- it just goes to show that IRISH in you!! I was one of the few grandchildren that didn't get to see you every Sunday -- but I do remember Bryan talking about playing "scant". I am sure there will be a resurgence of that game around everyone's table and the many memories it brought to all of us kids. What I will remember most about you is you NEVER yelled -- but you did mumble alot -- as I call it now -- "grandma's language" -- I wish you would have taught that to me, and I wish I knew what you said. You never said too much and always had a smile on your face -- I wonder what you were really thinking? I hope that the strenght you have has been passed down -- because you have been without Grandpa for almost 22 years -- and he has waited a long time for you -- and Uncle Jim, too. Your are now reunited with them, along with your siblings. Just don't dance and party too much -- you have to save that for the rest of us when we all meet again. I may not have known you as well as many of your other grandchildren or great-grandchildren -- but I do love you gram and I will miss you. And as you see on Friday - you were (are) one loved woman -- and that is all anyone could ever ask for. Count your money on your way thru those pearley gates -- who said you can't take it with you? -- and check in on us all once in a while -- Love You, Kim

GRANDMA GREAT Grandma GREAT, I know you're going to a much more pleasant place, and I know we will remember the smiles you have left on our face. I can speak for everyone when I say, "We are blessed to have such an Honest and Great person like you, and the love you gave us was so pure, honest, and true." Travis & Dakota will miss her very much but always remember her smile when we walked into the room. Aunt Edna, Aunt JoAnn, Aunt Rosie, Aunt Jean & Uncle Jr., We can't express how sorry we are for the loss of your Mother (Grandma). Grandma, I am going to miss you dearly! I never wanted the day to come to have to lose what was left of my daddy! The day has come and now I know you are up there with him! He wanted nothing more but to have his Mom & Dad with him! You were like my second mom you raised us three kids for a very long time! I was 19 years old before I left you! You didnt only help raise us kids you were there to watch my babies grow in your home and boy do they ever love you! I could never say enough to tell you how much I really love you! Every morning and every night before I left work I had to come give you a kiss boy am I ever going to miss that! Dear Grandma, We miss you so much already. Thank you so much for hanging on until I could get to the hospital to say good-bye in person. On the way to the hospital,I asked Grandpa, Uncle Jim, and Kris for just a 1/2 hour and according to my watch, that is exactly what they gave me. I mean, they did not have to be so precise, they could have given us a few extra minutes. Seeing you lay there on your way to the gates of Heaven was more than my heart could ever imagine. It was never what I had imagined. I know that you could hear me and was probably saying, "Thank God, what took you so long?" I was able to say I love you, Thank you for giving us Grandchildren 40 + years of memories and the Great Grandchildren 18+ years of memories. How rare is it that children get the chance to have so much of a Grandparent like we were able to do. I think back to so many memories that we all had. Every Sunday at Grandma's house, Spaghetti was always on the menu the 1st Sunday of the month. I think about the "Boone's Farm" that you would sip at Christmas and get laughing so hard because it made you silly that we would all laugh so hard that our ribs hurt. I remember helping Grandpa with the apples at the cider mill, and helping him get the sap to make Maple Syrup. Those days may be gone, but never forgotten. I am so grateful that my Madyson was able to have you in her life. I know how much you adored her and lit up when we would walk into the room. She will be very happy having your recliner to rock in and will cherish it forever. She will remember you and smile each time she rocks back and forth. Thank you again for the memories and the lessons that you taught all of us. You are home now with Grandpa, Uncle Jim, and my Dear Kris. They have all been waiting and opened those gates with their beautiful smiles that always adorned their faces. You were finally home. Until we meet again on the other side, we will keep you close to our hearts and remember that smile of yours forever in our hearts. Grandma, we love you.
