Dear Family, Wish we were closer so we could attend the service of a great man. I have such fond memories of Uncle App and holiday dinners. He always brougt a wonderful box of chocolates to my mom and it always seem to complete the holiday. After my mom died he used to bring the chocolates to me for our holiday dinners. A memory I will always cherish. We always had interesting conversations. He was so intelligent and up to date on the news of the day and sports. Den and him used to have wonderful talks about he military and what Den was doing as a job at that time. I hope you are all well and maybe we will see some of you in the future.
