Tiny, I can only imagine the tremendous void in your life since Stanley's passing. He was a man with purpose who loved his family and farming. Without you, his driving force, none of this would have happened. I marveled at he way you spoke to each other. The mutual love, respect and admiration you had for each other was always apparent. What a blessing to have spent such a beautiful life together. Though the journey was short, remember that life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away. Treasure the moments and always keep them safe inside your heart.

Knowing my grandpa, I'de say, he's up in heaven right now, driving the Ol' Fergy around with Sandy Good Boy sitting by his side. I bet he was happy to see his family that passed before him, and I bet Spook is up there too. He was a wonderful and loving grandfather, even though our family has had it's share of silly drama. I will remember him for his awsome sense of humor, and his work ethic. I love you, Grandpa, you will be in my heart forever.

To All of The Shusters, Words cannot express the feelings in our hearts at the the loss of Stanley. The memories are what we can hold on to and they are many!!! Tiny and family, It is yet another sad day as St. Johnsville loses one more long time resident - and - we lose a very dear friend. So very sorry to hear of your loss.What a wonderful and gentle man Stanley was. Remember many nights of china painting with the girls and Stan coming in from the farm. Who would put up with all those women! For you especially,Tiny,I know how much you will miss him. Thinking of happier days at Caz and you smiling and saying "Stanley wanted me to have this" as you stashed away yet another piece of porcelain. We have many memories of Stanley and his passing is the end of an era. He was a kind caring person always asking how you were, never thinking of himself, always willing to help if you had a problem. Tiny, Artie, Donna, Doreen, & Family: We are so sorry to hear of Stanley's passing. He will be missed. We have a lot of fond memories of chit-chat's at Kinney's and when Jesse-James worked on your farm. I always loved to see Stanley and his dog (Sandy, I think her name was) riding that tractor. I so sorry to hear Stanley Shuster passed away, my heart goses out to the family. he will truley be missed and be in our hearts, forever. Stanley and his wife tiny shuster has helped my family in alot of ways in the past and was there to help my dad out on our farm when my mom passed away in 1960. for that i'm greatful for and will be for the rest of my days.

Stan was an outstanding example and role model of what a father or friend should be. For me Stan was the male role model in my life. I learned a lot of things from him, humor, integrity, farming, and what a man should be. We started back around 1950 when I was just a small kid. Stan taught me how to milk and the different things that make a farm run. I will say he taught me what work was and how to enjoy it. There were so many fun times like the time we were in the field on the first farm and were installing fence posts. Well Stan slammed the six foot pole bar into the ground right into a huge underground bumble bee nest. I dove in the sudan grass ehich was about 3 feet tall. The bees came after Stan and he was swatting them so hard but they were relenless. Afterwards poor Stan looked like he was in a fight with someone using a ballpeen hammer and lost. He lauhed and joked about those bees for a long time. Delivering the milk was always fun hearing him sing as we drove down to Fort Plain. He was an "Iron man" before it became popular. Sometimes it was tricky to get the milk off the hill to route 5 and back to the farm, what a hill. I learned a bunch from Stan who was a tremendous role model for me. He was a fantastic husband too, as my sister was definetly tough in the early days. I can remember Ting yelling "Stan change the babys diaper" when he just got in from milking. He just picked up the baby and changed it, never a gripe. Tiny had a great husband. I could go on forever, many laughs, much memories, and I will miss him. He had a major part in molding a snot nosed kid from the city. I will never forget Stan. God blessed him.

This is a man who lived by GREAT Example! He honored his passion in farming and drove his tractor with pride. He loved Tiny and his family completely! He was always kind beyond words and open to living life by astrology... And was Sandy's best friend! Stan, you were and continue to be an amazing spirit that will forever live in our hearts, thank you for sharing your wisdom and generosity! The world is a better place because of you! Our Love and Light to the Shuster Family.
