To the Carrig Family, No words can replace such a wonderful father and man! "Morgan the Milkman" used to deliver to 12 Manhiem Street every Saturday and he always gave me a free chocolate milk. I have lived in California since 1986 but whenever I buy chocolate milk for my little girls, I always think of Morgan. Tom, I'm sure it is horrible losing such a great brother. My heart goes out to all of you!
Dear Gail, Billy and Families, Your dad was a sweet guy. It was always a fun time when he drove us around in the milk truck!! He was definitely a local personality, one of the people that made growing up in LF during those times so special. My thoughts are with you both. And Gail, it's time to get together!!! Love, Barb
So sorry about Mr. Carrig's passing. So many parts of my life had him in it. I remember him delivering to St. Mary's and when he got his new truck, we could fit more of us for a ride on the back bumper. He always came in to pick up the Daily News and a racing form at Walt's and would talk to me about horses and the Mets. "Chrissy - who do you like?" he'd ask daily in August. Truly a great man and a Little Falls institution - Morgan the Milkman. Again - sorry and thoughts and prayers...Chris and family.
Billy & Gail and Carrig families Heartfelt sympathies on your loss, your Dad was a special man. One of my first memories is of your dad delivering milk to the house, I thought that was pretty cool. He always had a great smile and kind word. Share in your memories to help ease the pain.
Gail, Billy & Families, My deepest sympathy to all of you on the loss of your dad "Morgan". He truly was one of a kind and you so discribed him to a tee. The one thing you should have said is he has passed down a legacy of having two beautiful children that share his special qualities. I cherish the memories of the four of us, Mark, myself and both of you in morgans mustang riding through the country with a full moon smoking his cigars on a summer night. Billy, Gail and family, We are so sorry to hear of Morgan's passing. He was great uncle and wonderful man. I have fond memories of him, he was like a second father to all of us who worked the "milk route", which was kind of a rite of passage for Carrig boys. We are proud our oldest son bears his name. We wish we could be there with you to share our condolences.
Bill and Gail: This picture is so typical of your dad. I never saw him without a smile whether it be delivering milk at school or just driving down the street. To Morgan Carrig's Family: So very sorry to read of your loss. Mr. Carrig was a wonderful man and will always be remembered for his great personality and smile. I will always remember him as Morgan the Milkman. Even though I moved from Little Falls many years ago, if I saw him while visiting, he would always smile and speak to me. He will be sorely missed!!!
