LITTLE FALLS: Constance "Connie" Woods Rogers, 57, beloved wife of Robert E. Rogers, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Valley Health Services, Herkimer with the love and support of her family by her side. Born in Oswego, NY on June 15, 1956, Connie was the daughter of the late John J. "Oscar" and Josephine (Burden) Woods, Sr. She was a graduate of Oswego High School and on August 22, 1986 was united in marriage to Robert E. Rogers with whom she shared 27 years of a wonderful and loving relationship filled with great affection and admiration. Moving to the Little Falls area in 1995, Connie worked as secretary for the Little Falls Middle School since 1996. Early in her career, she worked in the banking industry. Connie was a selfless, loving, caring woman who was always concerned about the needs of those she loved. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, ice skating, swimming and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her sons, Eliott Rogers and Graham Rogers both of Little Falls; her brothers, John Woods, Jr. and Lawrence Woods and his wife Becky of Oswego; her sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Guerra and her husband Charles of Hershey, PA and Barbara Maher and her husband Patrick of Burnt Hills, NY. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects on Monday, January 6, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls, NY (315)823-2424. Connie's funeral services will take place on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. immediately following calling hours with Deacon Joseph DeLorenzo of Holy Family Parish, officiating. Interment will take place in Oswego, NY in the spring of 2014.
