LITTLE FALLS / HERKIMER - Mr. Jerome L. Zink, age 74, beloved husband of Connie (LaPuma) Zink passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening May 17, 2014 at his home. He was born on May 8, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Leonard and Leona (Dumez) Zink and was educated in Drifting, PA schools. On August 30, 1975 Jerome was joined in marriage with Connie LaPuma, a cherished union of 38 years. He was last employed as a welder with Mohawk Metals in Frankfort. Jerome also enjoyed working with his friends at Keppel's Chimney Sweep in Little Falls. Jerome enjoyed golfing will be forever remembered by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife Connie; his children: Lori Dempsey, Scott Zink and wife Jennifer, Pamela Truesdale, and Jerome Zink, II and his wife Tricia; grandchildren: Brandon, Jessica, Christian, Jodi, Jordan, Cole, and Mason; five great grandchildren; siblings: Lois Fulmer, Robert Zink, and Kathie Holloway; In Laws: Grace and David Strack and Francine and Ken Keddell and many nieces, nephews and special friends. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings: Lorna, Nancy, Carolyn, Larry, and Billy, grandsons: Shane and Ryan and his mother in law and father in law: Antoinette and Tony LaPuma. Visitation at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street in Little Falls, NY will take place on Wednesday May 21st from 4 until 6 PM. The funeral will commence at 6PM on Wednesday also at the funeral home with Deacon Ron Ste. Marie from the Church of Sts. Anthony & Joseph in Herkimer officiating. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort, where he will be laid to rest. The family would like to offer their gratitude to all who have assisted them during this very difficult and unexpected time.
