I met Bill when he and Vivian joined our Relay For Life team. He and Vivian were the perfect complement to each other; his quiet confidence was the perfect balance to her vivacious personality. Bill was the sweetest guy with the biggest heart. He loved it when we would tell the story of how he saved our Relay last year, and he really did save us! Our large decoration was supposed to be the big showstopper at our tent, but at the last minute we had some technical problems. Bill looked it over, came up with a plan for how to fix it, and even provided a small Swiss Army knife to make th repairs. From that point on, he was our hero! Any time we had a logistical issue, we'd ask Bill. His eyes would sparkle and he would get a tiny grin when he figured it out. I will miss his big smile and his laugh.
