Dear Papa, ( Leon), Heselton and Ingraham family.
Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of our precious Emmy.
My heart breaks and aches with all of you. I pray for you all to sense God carrying you through this valley of sorrow. Words seem so trite at a time like this. However, I just want to share some thoughts that I hope will bless each of you.
Emmy was an extraordinary lady. Gracious, highly gifted and intelligent, tenacious, tender, yet as strong as they come. She was one of the most multitalented women I've ever known. I always wished I could have been more like her. I always admired her deep and abiding faith in her God, and am so happy that you all share that common bond that I know brings you so much hope.
Every time I see kitties and Hummingbirds I will remember Emmy's love for them. Also: She was the first person I've ever known who had ducks for pets! How delightful that was to experience. We will all miss her delicious home made baked goods that were always just right. Her beautiful yard was always such a sanctuary too. She put so much energy, love and care into her flower and vegetable gardens.
Everyone who knew her will miss her childlike laughter and how quick and easy it was for her to show affection with a genuine fast embrace. She was quick with a smile and was also quick to forgive. Not many ladies like her left anymore. Sadly. :(
She knew all the names of every tree, bush, flower and bird, just like my Grandpa did. That always amazed me too. When I first met Elroy and he took me home to meet his parents, Emmy and Leon had so many kitties that I immediately knew she had a good soul. Cat people are the best people on earth! :)
Having just lost my own mother a few weeks ago makes this loss so much more difficult for Elroy and I. We are grieving and our hearts are SO broken.
Yet we celebrate Emmy's victory over death and rejoice for HER because she is finally HOME. No more sorrow, no more tears, no more heartache, no more being trapped in her earthly, fleshly body. This is the reason for our assurance:
...Because of her deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ, his shed blood, and resurrection from the dead to pay the penalty for our sins through simply believing.
Emlyann is ALIVE FOREVERMORE, FREE, REJOICING WITH HER HEAVENLY FATHER AND SAVIOR! She is celebrating VICTORY over death and the grave!
We look forward to the reunion we will have with her VERY SOON!
Much Love to all. Please let the love that still surrounds you comfort each one during this time of such profound loss. In Deepest Heartfelt Sympathy. Mrs. Elroy (Elizabeth) Heselton.
